Club History
The Fr. Murphy’s Hurling and Football club was formed in 1958. The original idea in forming the Club was to create a base for Wexford exiles in London. Some 30 years later a group of Ladies closely associated with the Men’s Club, spearheaded the formation of the Fr. Murphy’s Ladies club. Today, the Club is unique, competing at various levels of Hurling, Men’s and Ladies Football and Camogie, comprising of players and members that hail from all four provinces of Ireland, from Australia and just as importantly from London itself.
Successes over the years in all codes makes Fr. Murphy’s GAA Club one of the most prestigious and admirable Clubs in London.
